Sometimes my wife and i talk about like, what if we ever split up, and we both are like “fuck ever dating again” lol. I am sure i would just stop trying, the dating world is so different than 20 years ago.
I literally cant even select pictures of myself that i like aside from a few from my wedding. Id be absolutely fucked if i had to make an online dating profile.
As someone who has had two very long term relationships in their adult life, and had batshit crazy/terrible in laws both times, I’m not dating again unless they’re an orphan or estranged and the bond is irretrievably broken. Call me a scam loan because I have 0% interest.

My ex in college told me that he didn’t know how to comfort me after my dad died because “I don’t get why you’re that hurt, at least you had 18 years with your dad. I never knew mine”. The one silver lining of my dad dying was that I got to see how much of an idiot I was dating and dumped him.
